False Albacore Fishing Report

We took PRETTY WORK out for a short half day trip, looking to find the False Albacore biting where Tyler had them for us on the Mirage 21 about a week ago. We put the lines in just shy of 2FB, on a couple lumps that have been holding small Bluefish. No Blues today though, so we kept on venturing offshore and wound up on the Sea Isle Ridge. We started at the South end of the Ridge and worked to the north, finally boating a couple of False Albacore. We trolled a combination of small Cedar Plugs, Spoons, and Diving Plugs. It was pretty slow, although we did hear of a couple dolphin that were caught and the boats there were picking at the Albacore. Not red hot, by any means, that's for sure. The NE wind started coming on pretty strong and we called it a day, heading back to Avalon Pointe Marina.

Tight Lines,

Capt. Trey
