2007-09-16 - Adding Second Boat for Remainder of NJ Tuna Season

Adding More Fishing Options for Fall Tuna and Stripers

As the tuna bite off of NJ in the mid Canyons (Carteret, Spencer, Lindenkohl) continues to be outstanding, starting on October 1st, we've decided to re-locate THATS RIGHT to NJ for the remainder of the 2007 Season. Additionally, THATS RIGHT will be running our Striped Bass Charters out of Cape May from late October through the end of November. For those of you not familiar with THATS RIGHT, it is a brand new 2007 EVANS Sport fish, licensed to carry up to 13 passengers up to 100 miles offshore. We CAN TAKE MORE THAN 6 PEOPLE! Both LOW PROFILE and THATS RIGHT will be running overnight Tuna Trips all fall out of South Jersey looking to stay right on top of the hot bite that we've been capitalizing on for the last 5 weeks. This is shaping up to be the best year of canyon fishing here in South Jersey in recent memory. As LOW PROFILE was very short on availability for the remainder of the Fall, we now have lots of great dates open with a second boat running the whole month of October. Please give us a ring to talk about scheduling a tuna trip this Fall, we can almost certainly accommodate you at this point. Our normal schedule is a 2:00pm departure from Avalon Point Marina, located off of exit 13 on the Garden State Parkway, just 13 miles north of Cape May, NJ. We return to the dock about 12:00pm the following day. We will run both day and night Striped Bass Charters beginning in late October and continue to run Tuna Trips in November, so long as the weather and fishing cooperate. At the end of November, THATS RIGHT will head to the Florida Keys for the Winter, while LOW PROFILE will slide down to Morehead City and begin fishing for GIANT BLUEFIN in December and January before moving onto the Bahamas for 6 months. Both PRETTY WORK and JUSTIFIED will continue to fish in Ocean City, MD until Late October this season.
