Key West Fishing

Key West is located at the very end of the Florida Keys archipelago just 90 miles from Cuba. It is home to some of the best and most diverse angling opportunities in the world. Why? Because our Island City sits at the confluence of three major ocean entities: the Gulf of Mexico, the Gulf Stream and the Atlantic Ocean.

Whether trolling for pelagics from our 46-foot Whitcar, Pretty Work, fishing spin, plug and fly tackle from one of our offshore light tackle boats, chasing bonefish, tarpon, permit, sharks and barracuda on the flats or sipping champagne and mojitos on a leisurely sunset cruise, OU Key West Fishing has it covered. Come see for yourself why Ernest Hemingway made his home here plying of the Gulf Stream between here and Cuba; discover why Zane Grey wintered in the Lower Florida Keys chasing sailfish, giant tarpon and bonefish. Let our experienced staff and Key West Charter Captains make your island dreams come true.

If you don’t see something you are interested in — just ask! Let Over Under Key West customize your Key West Fishing adventure to fulfill all of your angling dreams.

Key West is known as the southernmost city in the Continental United State located 129 miles southwest of Miami, Floridaand 106 miles north-northeast of Havana, Cuba.  Cuba, at its closest point, is 94 statute (81 nautical) miles south.  This is a PARTY TOWN!!! If you like to party and fish....well...look no further, you have just found heaven! Duval street is like no other, famous for the night time party scene with pubs, restaurants and clubs all up and down the street. Check out the pier at sunset where everyone crawls out of the woodwork from firedancers, artists and very "interesting" people come out to show their stuff...oh, and watch the sunset. Art galleries, pub crawls, ghost tours, Ernest Hemingway museum are just a few of the activities you will find here.

To get here you have two options...fly in or drive in. Or fly one way and drive the other. The 3 hour drive from Miami through the Keys is scenic and gives you a great opportunity to see what the Keys are all about.
